I’ve heard these rubbery bracelets are quite popular, and it seems lots of professional athletes are hawking them. Just before Christmas I noticed a number of kiosks at local malls — they’ve since evaporated, but I’d be pissed if anyone got me that as a present. If you’re not familiar with how the scam works (which is actually a pretty well known con that’s been around for a long, long time in the field of quackery) have a look at this video which does a pretty good job of showing most of the tricks involved:
